Unfortunately nearly 500 children drown in pools each year, making it the number one cause of death among children under 5 throughout the country. We want to make this average number change. The Smart Pool has been created to sense when a child is near the pool. Laser sensors will surround the pool, sensing disrupion to trigger the levers under the pool. These levers will then lift the cushioned bottom of the pool with the water draining to underground tanks on the side in less than a minute. The sensors include a keypad so you can enter a code that turns off the sensor system, now you and your family can safely enjoy the fresh water of the pool.
